Why do I have a collection of thousands of recipes to lose weight?

Because in January of 2005 my wife and I decided to join a weight loss program. Thirteen months later I was over 90 pounds lighter and at my healthy chart weight, someplace I probably wasn't at for thirty years.  Since then I've lost a total of over 100 pounds, and my wife has lost way over 120 pounds.  That was in the spring of 2006, since then I've maintained the chart weight.

You would go to a party, bring some cheese stuffed mushrooms, people you haven't seen in ages would have a heart attack, and then another when you told them the mushrooms were fat free and good for you.  Time and time again people would ask for recipes, and we were always looking for new things.  Our collection of standard recipes started growing, and we kept hearing about others who were having steamed chicken every night and getting bored with it.

We knew that would kill any chance of success, being hungry or being bored, so we actively sought out recipes that were better then what we were  eating, and that's how the collection started. 

You can eat good  foods and you can lose weight.
